A different project: making a folder for my B6 TN

Hello fellow stampers, crafters, and friends!  Today I have a project for you that is not my typical, and may seem very different in general.  However, I thought it would be nice to do somthing different and to show you that there are so many uses for our products!

Let's get started with today's project.

Items needed for this: (in no particular order)

* Season of Chic Bundle
* Distressed Gold SP
* Texture Chic DSP
* Crumb Cake ink pad
* Block H
* Multipurpose Liquid Glue
* Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine
* Simply Scored tool
* Paper trimmer
* Paper Snips
* Stampin' Scrub (or something to clean your stamps)
* Stampin' Mist

Dimensions:

* 11" x 10.5" DSP
* Piece of distressed gold paper about 4"x 5"
* Scrap of basic white card stock

How to:

Remember to check the photo or video if needed.

* Cut all of your card stock and DSP as stated in the dimensions
* Score DSP at .5", 5.5", and 10.5" (11" side)
* Turn paper to the 10.5" side and score at 3.5"
* Fold and burnish along all of the lines
* Cut off the .5" piece along the bottom of each side just to the fold line where the pocket will be. Trim inside the scored line to make sure it fits past the seam later
* Fold in half and trim the top edge and bottom edge of the .5" seam at an angle  (see video if needed)
* Use some tear and tape along the .5" edges, and before adhering over, flip the pocket piece up so that it will be taped under the seams
* Fold everything over and give another brninsh.  You may need to readjust for everything to meet up properly before burnishing again
* Die cut the pieces you see in the photo out of the distressed gold paper (3 shells and the background piece)
* Stamp your sentiment on the white scrap and trim as you see fit.  You will see that I did not use the first word in the sentiment.  I just wiped it off after inking it up before stamping.
* Adhere the seniment piece and the die cut pieces onto the front (see picture)

Using the Spruced Up stamps and dies

 Hello fellow stampers, crafters, and friends!  Today I have made a card using the Spriced Up stamps and dies.  It is Christmas-y but could certainly be maid into a birthday card!

Let's get started with today's project.

Items needed for this card: (in no particular order)

* Spruced Up stamp set
* Spruced Up Outline dies
* Pained Texture 3D embossing folder
* Thick Basic White card stock
* Basic Black card stock
* Pool Party card stock
* Celebrate Everything DSP (**Host item)
* Memento Black ink pad
* Lovely Labels Pick a Punch
* Blocks A, B, D
* Adhesive(s) of choice
* Stampin' Dimensionals
* Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine
* Paper trimmer
* Paper Snips
* Stampin' Scrub (or something to clean your stamps)
* Stampin' Mist

Dimensions:

* 8.5" x 5.5" Thick Basic White card stock, folded in half at 4.25"
* 4" x 2 1/4" Pool Party (to emboss)
* 4" x 3" DSP (Celebrate Everyhing)
* 4" x 1/2" Pool Party card stock
* 3" x 1/2" Pool Party card stock (for sentiment)
* 1/4 of a full sheet of Basic Black card stock (for die cutting and backing of die cut pieces)

How to:

Remember to check the photo or video if needed.

* Cut all of your card stock and DSP as stated in the dimensions
* Fold your card base in half at 4.25". You will be making a vertical card today.
* Die cut three presentsusing your choice of DSP and another three using basic black. Keep the inside pieces of the DSP ones and the outline pieces of the basic black ones.
* Emboss the lagest piece of Pool Party using the Painted Texture 3D folder
* Stamp the sentiment onto the center of the smaller strip of Pool Party card stock in your Memento Black ink then punch each end using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch
* Take the embossed piece of Pool party and the large piece of DSP and on the backside, butt the two pieces up against each other and tape or attach together in some way (I just used scotch tape)
* Adhere these two pieces, that are now together like one, onto the card base.
* Adhere the longer of the two Pool Party strip pieces along the center of the "line" where the DSP and embossed piece meet up  (as though you are using this piece like ribbon to cover up the "line")
* Adhere the black outlines of the presents to some Basic Black card stock.  When doing this, it works best to not cover up the piece that represents the ribbon, so use that edge to be right against the end of the piece you are glueing to.
* Adhere the center pieces of the presents.  IMPORTANT: the center pieces may look the same in size but they are not!  Make sure you put the correct piece into the correct spot or it won't look right.
* Trim around the presents as needed
* Adhere stampin' dimensionsals to the back of the presents and the sentiment piece.
* Add the presents to the center of the Pool party strip (see picture)and the sentiment underneath the presents
* Stamp the inside as you see fit  (I stamped a few of the small presents that are in the stamp set and the other part of the sentiment)

* 3 1/2" x 1"  DSP (Perfectly Penciled)
* scraps of Shaded Spuce, Polished Pink, Basic White, and Basic Black

How to:

Remember to check the photo or videos if needed.

* Cut all of your card stock and DSP as stated in the dimensions
* Fold your card base in half at 4.25". You will be making a horizontal card today.
* Stamp your hippo then color it in using the stampin' blends
* Die cut the hippo, flowers, plant base, and circles, then cut the shaded spruce circle so that it is much smaller and looks like a hill or grass
* When die cutting the black circles, you will want to use the largest 3 circles from the Stylish shapes and run them through all stacked inside each other neatly to get the rings that you see in the photo
* Flag the ends of the DSP pieces by cutting into the center slightly, the cut from the corner to the spot where you cut (do this on both sides to make a flagged end)
* Adhere your DSP to the card base.  Place the bigger piece closer to the top half and the smaller piece over the bottom of the larger piece
* Place dimensionals onto the back of the hippo and the smaller of the two flowers and set aside
* Adhere the Shaded Spruce piece that you cut to look like a hill onto the white circle
* Stamp in Memento Black the sentiment in the upper right of the circle
* Adhere the hippo to the left side of the circle, and the plant/flowers to the right side
* Add Pearl Basic Jewels to the center of 2 flowers
* Add Wink of Stella to the black rings
* Add the black rings to the card, placing the largerst one twards the left top and the smaller overlapping towards the bottom right
* Add dimensionals to the back of the white circle that you have put the hippo on and then add to your card by overlapping it on the black rings
* Stamp the inside as you see fit

Your card is complete!
