Buffalo Check Moose Card

This card may be one of my favorites that I have made.  I hope you like it as much as I do!

How to:

Using Cherry Cobbler, make your card base and set aside.  Using Crumb Cake cardstock, stamp the Buffalo Check background in Mossy Meadow. Tear towards you, on each side of this stamped piece, about 1/4 of an inch in on all sides. Set aside.  Die cut the second sized scalloped oval from the Layering Oval set in Cherry Cobbler.  Die cut the second stitched oval from the Stitched shapes dies in Crumb Cake.  Using the stamp set, Snow Front, stamp the largest and second largest Pine trees onto the Crumb Cake die cut in Mossy Meadow.  Stamp some snow, using your Craft White Ink and the tiny snow stamp in the Coming Home stamp set.  Set aside to dry, as the white ink takes time as it is a pigment ink.  While that dries, use the Moose Punch to cut your moose in Early Espresso cardstock.  Wrap Linen Thread around the Buffalo Check piece 3 times, crisscrossing in the center.  Carefully adhere your scalloped Cherry Cobbler oval and Crumb Cake oval together, as the white ink may not yet be dry.  Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the oval to the center of the card, over the Linen Thread.  Adhere the moose to the side, overlapping a bit of the oval, using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Last, on a scrap piece of Crumb Cake, stamp Season's Greetings from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Mossy Meadow.  Fussy cut this piece out and adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Gilded Autumn card with embossing

I am loving the Gilded Autumn Suite so much that I just had to share another card using it with you!  This is a super quick, simple, yet beautiful card.

How to:

Using Mint Macaron, make your card base. Stamp the opposing corners using the "wheat" stamp from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set, in versamark ink. Heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Set aside. Cut your gold brushed metallic cardstock, and 2 coordinating pieces of DSP from the Gilded Autumn DSP. Adhere the DSP to the brushed metallic cardstock. Using the Basket-weave Ribbon, cover the DSP where the two pieces join. (See picture.) Cut a label from Very Vanilla, using the Tasteful Labels Dies and stamp your sentiment in versamark, and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Adhere with dimensionals over the ribbon. Embellish as you wish. I did not, as I used a lot of embossing and the DSP has a lot of shine to it.

Dimensions:

- 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", folded in  half at 4 1/4" of Mint Macaron

- 3 5/8" x 4 5/8", gold brushed metallic cardstock

- 3 1/2" x 1 3/4", DSP

- 3 1/2" x 2 3/4", DSP

- scrap of Very Vanilla
