A Favorite Product

I love making cards and sharing them with others.  I love watching videos and reading blogs of other card makers and paper crafters.  But one thing that I don't see a lot of is favorite and least favorite product shares.  I do see them from time to time, especially with crafters who use several companies items. But I have not personally seen a lot of Stampin' Up! favorite product reviews.  (That's not to say they aren't out there!)  If I like seeing those types of posts, I thought other may as well.

Stampin' Up! has so many good products.  Honestly, I love most everything, but if I had to choose just one current product, I would choose the Take Your Pick Tool.  This tool is a multipurpose tool that can help with many tasks while crafting.  It comes with 3 different attachments and a fourth can be bought as well. Two of the attachments are double sided, giving it even more bang for your buck!  These attachments get screwed onto a small handle that is similar to a thick marker or pen.  Each end can hold an attachment, so you can put your two most used attachments on and switch them out when you need something different.  Lets go through these attachments.

Take Your Pick Tool

The first three attachments all come with the Take Your Pick Tool upon ordering.

Attachment A:  This attachment has two sides. One side is referred to as a paper piercer and the other side is a mini spatula.

Attachment B: This attachment has two sides as well. Both sides are referred to as a stylus and the difference between the two is their size, one smaller than the other.

Attachment C: This attachment is one sided and is filled with a tacky putty.  When your putty has dried or is just not usable anymore, you turn the end to release a bit more putty.  (Refills can be ordered for this attachment.)

Attachment D:  This attachment is a die brush. This last attachment needs to be bought separately, if you wish to have it.

Now you may be thinking, "Wow, that's a lot of attachments, but I don't know what they are used for, or "I wouldn't use this".  Well, I thought the same things!  I actually put off ordering one for quite some time, then decided to just go ahead and try it.  Bear in mind, that some people may use their Take you Pick Tool differently than others, and that is perfectly OK!  You can use each of your attachments as you see fit, but let me tell you which ones I typically use and what for.

I use the paper piercer for.... paper piercing!  Hehe.  If I need to make a small hole in my paper, for a brad or something, this is the perfect tool!  But more frequently, I use this to pick up glue dots and to poke small pieces out of dies that don't fall out on their own.  this attachment is one of my two most used so it stays on the handle unless I need to swap to another attachment.

The other attachment that I leave on the handle is the putty attachment.  This is perfect for picking up those tiny sequins, rhinestones, pearls, and other similar small items.  It has just enough tackiness to hold the tiny item but it isn't so tacky that you can't get the item off when trying to place it on your project.

Anyway, that is enough for now about this incredible tool.  So, I'll leave you with this.  The price is unbeatable and you can find it here in my online store.  I'd be happy to help you in any way I can and I would so appreciate your business!

Brief Update

Hello stampers and crafters!  Today's post is going to be brief but I wanted to keep you updated on what I am doing and planning.

This week I have worked on a few videos (my first ones ever) to go over some aspects of Stampin' Up!  I hope to have those posted and linked in another blog post early next week, but first I need to do some editing.

I also have a giveaway I am hosting on my FB page, J-BEL Creations.  I will extend that to my blog as well.  So, if you like AND share my FB giveaway post, OR share my blog on social media, I will put your name into a drawing for either 5 handmade cards (I choose the cards) OR a free card kit so you can make your own cards!  You MUST comment here on the blog that you shared and link me to the shared post, or comment on the FB post that you liked and shared.  I will do the drawing on July 20th!

Thanks so much for being here and please continue to come back to see what I am doing with my Stampin' Up! and card making business!

Here's a recent card I made, just for fun!  Some of the products for this card can be found here on my website.  (Let me know if you need help!)

Current Products Used: Painted Poppies, Peaceful Moments, Poppy Moments, Layering Circles dies, Basic Black cardstock, and Poppy Parade cardstock.  (Not available is the pattern paper.)

Welcome to J-Bel Creations!

Hello all!  Welcome to J-Bel Creations!  I am April, an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I am also a mother of 3 boys and 1 girl. Two of the boys have Autism, one of them with T1D.  I am also a wife and a BHP (Behavioral Heath Professional).  I have been making cards for about 4 years ago.  It is a great stress reliever for me and I enjoy sending handmade cards to others.

I joined Stampin' Up! because I absolutely love the products, the way they coordinate, and the quality.  I plan to share my creations here and can't wait to get to know other papercrafters and card makers!
