Buffalo Check Moose Card

This card may be one of my favorites that I have made.  I hope you like it as much as I do!

How to:

Using Cherry Cobbler, make your card base and set aside.  Using Crumb Cake cardstock, stamp the Buffalo Check background in Mossy Meadow. Tear towards you, on each side of this stamped piece, about 1/4 of an inch in on all sides. Set aside.  Die cut the second sized scalloped oval from the Layering Oval set in Cherry Cobbler.  Die cut the second stitched oval from the Stitched shapes dies in Crumb Cake.  Using the stamp set, Snow Front, stamp the largest and second largest Pine trees onto the Crumb Cake die cut in Mossy Meadow.  Stamp some snow, using your Craft White Ink and the tiny snow stamp in the Coming Home stamp set.  Set aside to dry, as the white ink takes time as it is a pigment ink.  While that dries, use the Moose Punch to cut your moose in Early Espresso cardstock.  Wrap Linen Thread around the Buffalo Check piece 3 times, crisscrossing in the center.  Carefully adhere your scalloped Cherry Cobbler oval and Crumb Cake oval together, as the white ink may not yet be dry.  Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the oval to the center of the card, over the Linen Thread.  Adhere the moose to the side, overlapping a bit of the oval, using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Last, on a scrap piece of Crumb Cake, stamp Season's Greetings from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Mossy Meadow.  Fussy cut this piece out and adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals.
