I have had the stamp set, Way To Goat, for awhile now but haven't used it until recently. A friend asked me to make some cards for her and I thought that this set would make a fun, simple card that could be used for anyone.
How To:
Using Thick whisper white, make your card base and set aside. Take your Granny Apple Green card stock and stamp, in Granny Apple Green, the little can from stamp set Way To Goat all over. Set this piece aside and get scrap piece of whisper white, large enough to stamp the fluffier goat and a small sentiment. Using Memento black, stamp the fluffier goat. Also using Memento black, stamp the sentiment "Happy Birthday You Old Goat", away from your goat. Using Smokey Slate dark and light Stampin' Blends, color your goat and finish the goat with a small bit of Flirty Flamingo on the nose. Using the little dirt or grass looking stamp, stamp under the goat's feet with your Granny Apple Green inkpad. Now, using your smallest and second largest Stitched Shape square dies, cut out the goat and the sentiment. Wrap some linen thread around the card, near the bottom 1/3 of the card and make a knot on the left side. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the stamped pieces to the card, with the large piece over the linen thread and the small sentiment overlapping the large stamped piece on the upper left corner. - 8.5" x 5.5" Thick Whisper White, folded in half at 4.25"
- 5.25" x 4" Granny Apple Green
- Scraps of Whisper White
