Hello fellow stampers, crafters, and friends! Today I'm going to share a card with you that is quick and easy but-oh-so gorgeous! This card can be used for many occasions, which is the best!
Let's go ahead and get started. Keep in mind, that if you watch my video, the directions here may be a bit different than in the video. That's OK! The order doesn't always have to be exact, depending on the project.
How to:
The dimensions for the card are listed below. Using those dimensions, cut and fold the papers needed. Adhere the piece of DSP to the silver foil using your Seal. Now, adhere this piece to your card base. Set aside. Stamp the sentiment onto the piece of Basic Grey Scrap in StazOn black ink. I used the sentiment that says "Your kindness makes the world a more beautiful place to be", found in the Peaceful Cabin stamp set. Using a the long die found in the die set called Seasonal Labels, cut out the sentiment. Now adhere some dimensionals to the back and set aside while you work on your embellishments.
This is the hardest part, and is really not hard at all! (I love when the hardest part is easy, making the card super easy overall!) Take a length of the Glittered Organdy Ribbon and make a zig zag like shape with it (see picture for reference). Place some Seal onto your card front and place the ribbon onto the Seal to hold it in place. You can make you zig zag as big or small as you like. You will see that I made mine fairly large. I really wanted to show off the ribbon(s)! Next, a cut a piece of the Metallica Mesh Ribbon to basically fit the width of the card. Add more Seal to the card front, right over the other ribbon, and place the mesh ribbon down. Now, place your sentiment piece over the ribbons. Lastly, trim the edges of the mesh ribbon that may be hanging over the sides.
Your card is complete!
