Hello friends! I hope everyone is doing well. I have a card to share with you, once again. This card was CASEd from the Annual Catalog, page 23. I changed some things, adding my own take, but left the basic idea in tact as I really liked the card in the catalog. So let's get started!
How To:
Create your card base using basic white. Cut another piece of basic white (dimensions to follow) as a panel for you card. You will also want a scrap piece of mint macaron and rich razzleberry. One final piece of "paper" is needed- vellum!
Mount your stamps from the Lovely You stamp set. I chose to use the same stamps as the catalog- the "fern", the laves, the mall double flower, and the large single flower. Starting with the fern, I stamped it on my card panel using mint macaron. Next, stamp the leaves in gray granite. Make sure you are leaving space between each stamped image for other images. Then, stamp the large flower in crushed curry and then the small double flower in rich razzleberry. Choose a sentiment and stamp it on your scrap piece of rich razzleberry using versa mark. I then embossed using a clear embossing powder because I couldn't find my white. I think white would look much better! The sentiment I chose was " Just because". I then punched the ends of both the rich razzleberry scrap and the mint macaron scrap using the Pick A Label punch that is bundled with the Lovely You stamp set. Adhere these two pieces together. Adhere the stamped panel to the car base leaving a border on two sides. Adhere the vellum to the stamped panel, adhering only behind where the sentiment will be so that you can't see any adhesive. Now adhere your sentiment on using some dimensionals. Last, add some fern pieces from the In Good Taste Elements with some glue dots. See the video here.
