Pattern Play Birthday Invitation

Hello fellow stampers and crafters!  I have another project for you today.  Super quick and simple and can be changed up a million ways!  It is a birthday invitation.  My daughter turned 9 today, and we made a sort of last minute decision to have a small party.  I hate buying invites and needing to fill all the info in.  So I decided to make them myself. But I didn't want to take more than 20 minutes or so to do it.

I knew the Pattern Play stamp set would be a great choice!  I also use a retired set, but you can easily substitute for something else.

How to:

Cut a piece of Blushing Bride card stock to 5." x 4.25". This is all you will need for card stock (minus whatever paper you place on the other side for invite information).  Using the Pattern play stamp set, stamp the patterns you like, into the places you want them.  I used the solid hearts (in Highland Heather), the rows of lines that look sort of like  they come together as arrows (in Blushing Bride), and the piece that reminds me of fireworks (in Blushing Bride).  I also added some candles from a different (retired) set called Approaching Perfection (which was stamped in Coastal Cabana).  Last, I added a center sentiment from the Pattern Play set in black Staz On, which says "Cue the confetti".   That completes the front.  For the back, I just typed up what I wanted the invitation to say, sized it to fit the card and adhered it on.

Dimensions:

See?!  Simple, quick, yet affective!  It didn't need to be fancy, because let's be honest, 8-10 year old girls really won't care much either way.  Check out the video here!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Let me know what colors you would use for yours!  And as always, I would love to be your demonstrator!
