A Christmas Card

 Hello fellow stampers, crafters, and friends!  Today I'm going to share a card with you that I made for Christmas.  I have been making quite a few Christmas cards lately to prep for the upcoming sales that I am sure I will have. So quick and easy and can be done with so many papers, colors, stamps, etc.!

Let's go ahead and get started.

Items needed for this card: (in no particular order)

* Poinsettia Petals stamp set
* Poinsettia Dies
* Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder
* Thick Basic White card stock
* Basic White card stock
* Cheery Cobbler card stock
* Garden Green card stock
* Snowy White Velvet Sheets
* Cherry Cobbler ink pad
* Block D
* 2021-2023 In Color Jewels
* Adhesive(s) of choice
* Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine (or die cutting machine of choice)
* Paper trimmer
* Stampin' Scrub (or something to clean your stamps)
* Stampin' Mist

Dimensions:

* 8.5" x 5.5" Thick Basic White card stock, folded in half at 4.25"
* 5 1/8" x 3 7/8" Garden Green card stock
* 5" x 3.75" Basic White card stock
* 5" x 3.75" Cherry Cobbler card stock- to be embossed and cut corner to corner, diagonally.
* A strip of a Snowy White Velvet sheet, at around 3" x 8"
* Scrap of Garden Green card stock- for leaves, if not using center of panel piece listed above.

How to:

* Fold your card base in half at 4.25".
* Die cut the three different sizes of poinsettia petals from the Snowy White Velvet sheet.  You'll want to use both the outside piece and the inside piece, as the inside piece embosses.
* Die cut 3-4 leaves in Garden Green.  Again, use the outside and inside pieces. (I did this from the center of the Garden Green card stock so that I can save paper.)
* Emboss your Cherry Cobbler card stock using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.
* Cut the Cherry Cobbler piece in half, corner to corner, diagonally.
* Adhere the Cherry Cobbler piece to the white panel, in the lower right corner.
* Stamp your sentiment in Cherry Cobbler in the upper left corner- quite close to the corner.
* Adhere this piece to the Garden Green piece.
* Adhere this panel to the card base.
* Adhere the three petal pieces together, lining the leaves up opposite of each other as you go. (See video for more.)
* Adhere the leaves, setting the flower in place to decide overall placement of leaves.
* Adhere the flower once leaves are adhered.
* Adhere the Pale Papaya In Color Jewels to the center of the the flower.

Your card is complete!
