A Simple Christmas Card

 Hello fellow stampers, crafters, and friends!  Today I'm going to share a card with you that I made for a team swap.  The theme was "clean and simple Christmas".  So quick and easy and can be done with so many papers, colors, stamps, etc.!

Let's go ahead and get started.

Items needed for this card: (in no particular order)

* Christmas To Remember stamp set
* Christmas Season stamp set
* Seasonal Labels Dies
* Espresso card stock
* Crumb Cake card stock
* Very Vanilla card stock
* Real Red card stock
* Painted Christmas DSP
* Gold Holly Leaves
* Early Espresso ink pad
* Real Red ink pad
* Garden Green ink pad
* Red Rhinestones
* Bone Folder
* Block
* Block D
* Adhesive(s) of choice
* Stampin' Dimensionals
* Paper trimmer
* Stampin' Scrub (or something to clean your stamps)
* Stampin' Mist

Dimensions:

* 8.5" x 5.5" Early Espresso card stock
* 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" Crumb Cake card stock
* 4 1/8" x 2.5" Painted Christmas DSP
* 4 1/8" x 1.5" Real Red card stock
* 3 7/16" x 3/8" Blackberry Bliss card stock
* Scrap of Very Vanilla card stock
* 5.25" x 4" Very Vanilla card stock (inside panel)

How to:

* Fold your card base in half at 4.25".
* Die cut your sentiment piece from the scrap of Very Vanilla using a label from the Seasonal Labels Dies.  (See picture for which one I used.)
* Stamp the inside panel and sentiment piece using the berries and twig stamps from the Christmas Season stamp set and Real Red and Garden Green ink pads.  I stamped full strength inside and second generation on the sentiment piece.  (See pictures for placement.)
* Stamp your sentiment on the sentiment piece using Early Espresso ink.
* Using your bone folder, break the fibers in the Real Red card stock piece.  G over it many times, in all directions, until the piece can be easily pull apart into two pieces.  (This will leave a suede like texture on the inside part. See video for more on how to do this.)
* Adhere the DSP to the Crumb Cake card stock.
* Adhere the Real Red piece, suede-like side up, covering up the DSP line, nearly at the center of the entire piece.
* Adhere this whole piece to the card base.
* Adhere the sentiment piece to the center of the Real Red piece, using stampin dimensionals.
* Adhere the Gold Holly leaves (as seen in picture).
* Adhere the Red Rhinestones; one on each side of the sentiment and three in a row going down on the top right side of the Crumb Cake piece.
* Adhere the inside panel.

Your card is complete!
